Soak the chickpeas in water for 1 night
Steam the broccoli in a steaming basket or a small layer of water in the pan.
Heat another pan with a layer of water, and add the chickpeas and garlic cloves. Leave to warm in a few minutes.
Then drain the pans. Crush the chickpeas and garlic finely with a pestle or use a hand blender.
Stir in the Italian herbs, some freshly ground pepper and a little salt.
Finally, spoon the broccoli through the mashed chickpeas.
Briefly roast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan until they are nice and golden brown.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the sausages goes.
Serve the chickpeas stew with the pine nuts.
