French toast with apple and cinnamon

Preparation

Peel the apple and remove the core. Cut the apple into small cubes. Season the apple cubes with cinnamon. Melt a dash of liquid margarine in a pan and fry the apple cubes with the cinnamon for about 5-10 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Mix the egg with the milk in a bowl. Put the slices of bread through the milk-egg mixture on both sides.

Heat a little liquid margarine in a frying pan and fry the French toast for about 2-3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Serve the French toast with the baked apple and finish with some cinnamon if you like.

  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid margarine
