Burger with hummus and spinach

Preparation

Put the minced meat with the breadcrumbs, egg and some pepper and salt in a bowl. Mix it together until it becomes a homogeneous mass. If it is too sticky, add some extra breadcrumbs.

Divide the meat mixture into four equal parts and form them into flat hamburgers.

Remove the seeds from the bell peppers and cut them into strips. Then grill them in a grill pan.

Fry the hamburgers in the olive oil until done, for 10-12 minutes. Season with pepper and salt. Toast the hamburger buns briefly until golden brown.

Spread the buns with hummus, divide the baby spinach over them and put the burgers on top. Lay the grilled pepper strips on top and cover with the other half of the bun.

Serve the hamburger with fries or potato wedges if you like. Enjoy your meal!

  • 1 tablespoon biofood olive oil
  • 4 damhert gluten-free hamburger buns
  • 2 bell peppers in different colours
  • 200 g hummus of your choice
  • 150 g baby spinach
  • 400 g mixed gluten-free minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 25 g damhert gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of pepper and salt
